We the People Warwick
Fostering Dialogue ~ Building Community

Warwick, New York is a wonderful community filled with people from a wide variety of backgrounds. Often, our diversity of experience leads to different perceptions of current events and community challenges.

We the People Warwick (WTPW) is a grassroots organization formed in early 2021 with the goal of fostering dialogue to bridge divides, build connections, and unite our community.

Through WTPW, concerned residents come together to consider what we have in common, what keeps us apart, and how we can work together to build a stronger Warwick for all of us. It is because of their talents, skills, creative imaginations, dedicated work, and love of community that the growth and progress of WTPW continue. WTPW is a fully volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We welcome donations here.

We the People Warwick Mission

To foster dialogue, greater understanding and common ground among all people of Warwick, ensuring that every person feels welcomed, heard and supported in the town we all love

 We the People Warwick Goals

  • To advocate for the safety, acceptance, and support of all residents

  • To bring community members together to share points of view

  • To use dialogue to build trust and greater understanding

  • To embrace the richness of our diverse views when identifying challenges and opportunities before us

  • To address community needs using an intergenerational, cross-sector perspective and develop solutions that serve and empower all residents

Above all, we strive to exercise compassion toward one another by acknowledging that what we share is more powerful than what divides us.
