A Day in the Life Series
What’s it like to be a school nurse? A grocery clerk? A farmer? A police officer? A plumber? A community volunteer?
Over the last few years, we have come to appreciate what each of us does on a daily basis in a new way, but what are each others' days really like?
Often, we don’t know much about the day-to-day work of our neighbors, but this “A Day in the Life” program will offer a glimpse.
Much like our Warwick Story Share events, these “A Day in the Life” gatherings allow us to connect with our neighbors through stories they share about what they do. We the People Warwick recognizes that an opportunity to look inside the day of another can engage our sense of curiosity and deepen our connection.
At these casual one-and-a half-hour gatherings, two or three local residents will have approximately 15 minutes to share their stories. Presenters might describe a typical day, a memorable day, or what they find most rewarding or challenging about their job or activity. There is also time for questions from the audience.
Hear what attendees have had to say about our A Day in the Life events. We think you’ll agree they’re a great success!
Please join us as we continue this storytelling journey here in Warwick!
