Warwick Voices through Photos Public Exhibition

  • at the Greenwood Lake Public Library 79 Waterstone Road Greenwood Lake, NY, 10925 United States (map)

Sunday, November 12 - Sunday, December 3

The Warwick Voices through Photos Exhibition is the culmination of an Essential Photovoice dialogue program offered by We the People Warwick in Fall of 2023. The Essential Photovoice approach to dialogue utilizes participants' photos as catalysts for conversation.

Town of Warwick residents who participated shared their stories and their own amateur photos through facilitated group discussion over the course of six weeks. This was challenging work that deepened participants' understanding of human complexity, the value of diversity, and that what we share is more powerful than what divides us.

Please consider viewing the exhibition on your own any time between November 12th and December 3rd during library hours. As you journey through the exhibit, we invite you to open your heart and mind, reflecting on your connections to the topics these photos address. We hope this collection of images and stories evokes a sense of shared values and reminds you of the caring, kindness, talent, and growth that sprouts all the time here in our wonderful Town of Warwick.
