A Day in the Life - Small Group Gathering
When: Saturday, March 18th, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Where: The Albert Wisner Public Library
What: A Day in the Life - Small Group Gathering
What’s it like to be a a school nurse? A grocery clerk? A farmer? A police officer? A plumber? A community volunteer? Often, we don’t know much about the work of others, but this “A Day in the Life” program will offer a glimpse into daily lives such as these. This particular morning will give three local residents a chance to describe the joys and challenges of their jobs and activities:
Anbu Vasudevan, originally from Malaysia, is a caterer and chef specializing in Asian and Middle Eastern food, which she delivers or prepares at private parties.
Nick Clark is a certified athletic trainer who works to find the sources of pain as well as addressing improved movement.
David Schiff is a luthier who makes guitars in his Warwick workshop and is the author of “The Woodworkers Guide to Making and Using Jigs, Fixtures and Setups: How to Get the Most from Every Tool in Your Shop.”
There will also be time for questions from the audience. Please consider joining us!
