Join us to kick off Warwick Voices through Photos Exhibition's display at AWPL. This exhibition is the culmination of an Essential Photovoice dialogue program offered by We the People Warwick in Fall of 2023. The Essential Photovoice approach to dialogue utilizes participants' photos as catalysts for conversation.
Town of Warwick residents who participated shared their stories and their own amateur photos through facilitated group discussion over the course of six weeks. This challenging work deepened participants' understanding of human complexity, the value of diversity, and that what we share is more powerful than what divides us.
The presentation and reception will be a chance to hear from some of the Town of Warwick residents who participated in the 6-week program. Light refreshments will be served. Please consider joining us on January 6th - or viewing the exhibition on your own any time between January 5th and February 28th.
